The data you and your team store in Vigol will depend on how you configure the workspace. Typical categories include:

Account and authentication data: administrator details, email addresses, role assignments, billing identifiers, and activity logs used to secure sign-in and audit access.
Client records: company names, postal addresses, contact information, linked jobs, invoices, and attached documents.
Job information: job descriptions, scheduling data, assigned personnel, tracker timestamps, uploaded files (drawings, risk assessments), certifications tied to each job, and internal notes.
Financial data: invoices, payment instructions, payment history, costs, materials, supplier catalogues, tax rules, and renewal reminders.
Compliance artefacts: certifications, qualifications, insurances, and supporting documents uploaded to prove readiness for work.

Your workspace data remains in Vigol until you delete it or close your account. We offer admin tools to remove clients, jobs, documents, invoices, and certifications directly. Backup copies are retained for a limited period to support disaster recovery and legal compliance.

We employ access controls, encryption in transit, audit logs, and active monitoring across dashboards, job trackers, and document stores. You are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, managing user roles, and signing out of shared devices via the in-app logout sheet.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal data we hold about you. Workspace administrators can action many requests within Vigol. You can also contact us to exercise these rights, object to processing, or file a complaint.

8. International transfers

We may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where we do, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect the data.
