Delete your Virgol account and data

Last updated: 10 July 2026

Virgol lets users create an account. This page explains how to delete your Virgol account, request deletion of all associated app data, or request deletion of specific app data.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Virgol.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request shown in the app.

Request deletion by email

Email support@virgol.co.uk from the email address used for your Virgol account. Use the subject line Delete my Virgol account.

What is deleted

When account deletion is completed, we delete or anonymise the app account data associated with that account, including profile details, company/workspace records, clients, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses, receipts, uploaded files, trackers, settings, and support/feedback records where they are tied to the account.

Request deletion of specific data

If you do not want to delete the full account, email support@virgol.co.uk and describe the data category you want deleted, such as files, receipts, feedback messages, or account support messages.

Timing and retention

Deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

After deletion

Deleted accounts and records cannot be restored. If you use a store subscription, you may also need to manage or cancel that subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
